  • Missing a Boat?  - An aluminum boat with an electric motor has been found at the north end of the lake.  The boat was outfitted with a holder for shooting off 7 roman candles at a time.  The motor was still connected to the battery and ready to go.  Fishermen on the dock said that it had been there since the 4th.  It has been taken to a safe place.  Please call Diane Nichols at 425-753-3613 or dianenicholsleo@hotmail.com if it is yours.
  • Lake Desire House for Sale – John and Kathy Shertz have their home at 18533 W Lk Desire Dr SE (south end of lake) on the market.  For info e-mail to katshertz@q.com or by phone 425-228-8666.  You can also pick up a flyer from the ReMax sign at their driveway.
  • Clubhouse Update – Thanks to Dewey Hill for the super job he has been doing this summer on mowing and cleaning the clubhouse grounds.  Submitted by Kathy Shertz, katshertz@q.com.
  • Renton Farmer’s Market – Tuesdays 3-7pm – Renton Downtown Piazza on S 3rd between Logan and Burnett.  Renton is one of the largest, nicest farmer’s markets around, with over 50 farmers.  Enjoy fresh local fruits and vegetables (including a variety of organic), honey, yummy cooked foods and baked goods, live entertainment, fabulous flower bunches, plants, gardening advice, and probably at least several people you know.
  • Summer Walking for Lake Desire Women – There are several opportunities to walk with your neighbors this summer.  Don’t miss out!

Lake Desire Clubhouse Rental – Contact Vi Anderson at 425-226-7005 or woods_inn@msn.com  for details.  The clubhouse features a full kitchen, tables and chairs to seat up to 40 people (max 60), new carpet and restrooms. Members receive a discount on renting the community clubhouse.  The normal rate is $75 to rent the clubhouse for the whole day or ($15 per hour- min. of 3 hours.) Members can rent the clubhouse at a discount for only $60 per day. Membership is $15 for the calendar year for individuals/families or $10 for senior citizens.
